An open invitation to become a HITMXE practitioner

We all feel the world spinning faster, yet the most profound consequences remain over the horizon. In a complexified world, we witness this as an overpowering cocktail of hype and fear. Pressure that lands heavily on future‑facing professionals like us.

Stepping back from that system gave me space to rethink how to contribute, without doom mongering, clickbait, or the opposite: feigned optimism.

Employment and freelancing put money in our accounts, but they also put us in a box. They define us clumsily. An idea, if embodied, can break us out of that.

In the last two years I’ve spoken to many entrepreneurs. It’s sobering how often money trumps values. I’ve seen too much “fake it till you make it”—all promise, no innovation. I’ve joined collectives with the right idea, to find people more interested in fuelling their personal brand than new systems. Not forgetting the cringe dystopia of “main‑character energy”.

Playing that game felt wrong. Easier, sure, but courage doesn’t come from ease.

Humans In The Machine feels more complete because it’s the result of embodiment: evidence, clarity, systems thinking, and a core choice of enthusiasm as the best expression of courage. That shift also changed our long game: from scale to diffusion, and from franchisees to practitioners.

HITMXE is a shared method that practitioners interpret through their own procedural expertise. Inspired by how schools of philosophy, martial arts lineages, psychotherapy modalities, architectural movements, scientific paradigms, and craft guilds maintain coherence without dissolving into complacency or hardening into dogma.

I’m looking for a few accomplices I trust; people who - like me - never fully fit inside the lanes we were given, but who may not have the luxury of time to explore alternatives alone, or who seek a renewed spark. People who think beyond their discipline, who respond to complexity with consequence rather than performance, and who want a means to pursue more courageous work.

🤝We agree on simple, practical terms for using HITMXE materials — especially if you later join an organisation with overlapping offerings.

🧭 We help people course‑correct without diluting the work into corporate sameness or “quick‑fixation.”

We are looking for the right people to explore what practising this could look like, with the aim to commence in May 2026. Spreading the idea of Humans In The Machine, protecting its integrity, addressing blind spots, and building more case studies—but in a human way, without partnership contracts, fee calculations or licensing schemes.

As internet discovery is increasingly privatised and concealed, promoting hopeful — even reasonable — ideas is getting harder. That doesn’t mean we should give up. We can make an impact together.
